Yuhan Corp. has announced a new partnership with Bayer Korea to co-promote two of Bayer’s top skin care products: Bepanthen Ointment and Canesten. This collaboration will begin in February, focusing on expanding access to these popular treatments for sensitive skin and women’s health issues in South Korea.
Bepanthen Ointment: A Leading Skin Treatment
Bepanthen Ointment, which contains dexpanthenol, is a non-steroidal treatment widely used to soothe sensitive skin and repair damaged skin barriers. It is currently the world’s best-selling product in the dermatology sector. This ointment is effective in treating a variety of skin conditions, including diaper rash in infants, dermatitis, wounds, eczema, and sunburn.
Canesten: A Top Antifungal Treatment
Canesten, which contains clotrimazole as its active ingredient, is a leading antifungal treatment for skin infections and Candida-related vaginitis. Available in forms such as cream, pessary, and powder, Canesten is the top-selling treatment for Candida vaginitis and vulvitis, making it a go-to solution for women’s health management.
Strategic Partnership to Expand Market Share
Through this partnership, Yuhan Corp. aims to strengthen its presence in the South Korean dermatology and women’s health sectors, particularly in the treatment of vaginitis and vulvitis.
“We believe that Bepanthen Ointment and Canesten are globally recognized products that have made a significant impact on disease treatment,” said Cho Wook-je, CEO of Yuhan Corp. “We look forward to working together to create synergy between our two companies, providing easier access to these high-quality products for Korean consumers.”
