SKKY Partners, the private equity firm co-founded by Kim Kardashian and Jay Sammons, has made a minority investment in the luxury skincare brand 111Skin. While financial details of the deal remain undisclosed, the investment is set to enhance 111Skin’s direct-to-consumer operations and expand its reach in the rapidly growing North American and Asian markets.
Strengthening 111Skin’s Digital Presence
With a focus on strengthening its digital marketing efforts, 111Skin is set to revamp its website, improve customer relationship management, and build a stronger social media presence. This comes at a crucial time as the brand looks to solidify its position in the luxury skincare industry and continue its global expansion.
Vanessa Goddevrind, who recently took over as CEO from co-founder Eva Alexandridis, emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships for the brand’s growth. “SKKY Partners has a strong track record of partnering with brands that align with our values, and we are excited to have them onboard for this next phase,” said Goddevrind.
Expanding in North America and Asia
One of 111Skin’s top priorities is expanding its presence in North America, where it has already seen significant growth. The brand is working with top retailers like Bluemercury and Nordstrom, capitalizing on the increasing demand for premium skincare products. SKKY Partners’ investment will help 111Skin conduct in-depth market research and tailor its approach to these key markets.
The brand has steadily built a loyal customer base, with high-profile fans including Bella Hadid, Victoria Beckham, Priyanka Chopra, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
From a Single Shelf to Global Distribution
Founded in 2012 by Dr. Yannis Alexandridis, a former trauma surgeon, 111Skin began with a single shelf in Harrods, London. Today, it has become a market leader in luxury skincare, with a global distribution network that includes Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Selfridges, and online platforms such as Net-a-Porter and Cult Beauty.
The brand’s commitment to creating innovative products based on Dr. Alexandridis’s clinical expertise has led to the success of iconic products like the Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask, which has sold over 18 million units since its 2018 launch.
This partnership with SKKY Partners will likely accelerate 111Skin’s growth, positioning the brand to continue its rise as a luxury skincare powerhouse.
