In honor of International Women’s Day, Hines Health Services (HHS) is proud to highlight its commitment to empowering women in the workforce, underscoring its position as a female-led organization with a workforce that is 75% women. With a core mission rooted in diversity and inclusion, HHS is dedicated to creating a culture where women can thrive across various industries.
Founded by Kristi Hines, a Registered Nurse and award-winning entrepreneur, HHS has long championed women’s roles in the workforce, particularly in healthcare—a traditionally female-dominated sector. However, the organization has also made significant strides in male-dominated fields, such as emergency medical services (EMS) within the oil and gas industry. Through innovative programs, hands-on training, and paid student opportunities, HHS is paving the way for women to take on leadership positions across these sectors.
“Women belong in every industry, in every boardroom, and in every leadership position,” said Kristi Hines, Founder and CEO of Hines Health Services. “At HHS, we’ve cultivated an environment where women don’t just survive—they thrive. Our success is a reflection of our ability to empower women, particularly in fields where they’ve historically been underrepresented.”
A prime example of this commitment is HHS’s female-led EMS team, which has driven innovation, resilience, and excellence in challenging environments. The company is committed to providing the resources, mentorship, and opportunities needed to foster leadership and ensure women feel supported in their careers.
“Creating an inclusive workplace that encourages women to lead is essential, not just for business growth, but for shaping the future of our industries,” Hines added. “By focusing on professional development, mentorship, and leadership pathways, we ensure that women continue to excel in the medical field and beyond.”
As the organization continues to expand, HHS remains focused on advancing women in the workforce, serving as a beacon for future female healthcare leaders. This International Women’s Day, HHS celebrates the critical role women play in strengthening the healthcare sector, emergency services, and the broader community.
