The Global Health Forum (GHF) has officially launched with a bold mission to shape a healthier and more equitable future by fostering innovation, collaboration, and investment within the healthcare sector.
Led by prominent healthcare leaders Dr. Achintya Moulick, CEO of CarePoint Health; Dr. Samin Sharma, Head of Cardiology at Mount Sinai; and Mr. Sanat Chattopadhyay, Executive Vice President and President of Merck Manufacturing Division, the initiative aims to make a significant impact on global healthcare. The forum is headquartered in Manhattan, NY, with plans to expand offices in London, UK, and Mumbai, India.
A Strategic Vision for Healthcare Transformation
The GHF’s non-profit wing will focus on improving healthcare access for underprivileged communities, particularly within the India-US corridor. This division will address six key initiatives aimed at driving systemic change, detailed on the forum’s website. The inaugural Global Congress, set for November 2025 in the NY/NJ region, will bring together leading physicians, healthcare leaders, hospital representatives, and industry experts to collaborate on actionable healthcare solutions. More information can be found on the Global Congress website.
In addition to the non-profit efforts, the GHF will also launch a new digital platform called “Venture Vault.” This initiative will connect top industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators across various healthcare sectors to support and fund high-growth companies focused on advancing healthcare technologies and solutions.
Leadership Perspectives on the Forum’s Vision
Dr. Achintya Moulick emphasized the importance of inclusivity in healthcare innovation, stating, “Healthcare innovation must be inclusive. Our initiative will bridge the gaps between research, technology, and accessibility, ensuring a healthier future for all—especially those who have been left behind.”
Dr. Samin Sharma shared insights into the forum’s for-profit wing, which will leverage the digital platform to support healthcare startups: “By bringing together leaders from various industries, our digital platform will not only fund cutting-edge healthcare solutions but also mentor and scale ventures that can transform the way healthcare is delivered worldwide.”
Mr. Sanat Chattopadhyay spoke about the initiative’s far-reaching potential, describing it as “a movement towards a sustainable and equitable healthcare system. Our Global Congress will serve as a catalyst for meaningful conversations and real-world solutions.”
The GHF’s combined efforts in both innovation and community-centered healthcare aim to drive substantial change, ensuring the future of healthcare is more inclusive and accessible for all.
